Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the dye contamination of a pressure-sensitive copy sheet at printing time by containing alkaline salt of water soluble muliple content copolymer containing olefin carboxylic acid in a stock sheet. CONSTITUTION:A stock sheet contains preferably 8-90mol% of olefin carboxylic acid and alkaline salt of water soluble multiplex copolymer having higher than 40dynes/cm of surface tension of 1 by wt% of aqueous solution to provide higher than 50sec./100cc of transparency, preferably higher than 100sec./100cc. The olefin carboxylic acid thus applied includes, for example, (metha)acrylic acid, crotonic acid, maleic acid, etc. The monomer capable of copolymerizing with the olefin carboxylic acid, includes, for example, (metha)acrylic acid alkyl ester, (metha)acrylonitrile, (metha)acrylamide incorporating excellent film forming property, solvent resistance, and dye contamination preventing effect.
