Abstract

PURPOSE: An aqueous dispersion, capable of giving a film having improved heat bonding property at a low temperature and antiblocking property, and prepared by incorporating an ethylenic copolymer with a low content of copolymerization compponent with a specific ester compound.
CONSTITUTION: An aqueous dispersion containing (A) one or more ethylenic copolymers consisting of (A) 97W85mol% ethylene and (B) an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or further an alkyl ester thereof partly, in which 10% or more unsaturated carboxylic acid is neutralized and one or more aliphatic dibasic acid diesters and/or one sulfosuccinic diester as main components. The resultant dispersion is applied to paper, metallic foil or cellophane to give a heat-sensitive adhesive sheet.
