Abstract

PURPOSE: Titled composition having, after adhesion, improved stability with the lapse of time, thermal degradation, resistance to hot water and chemical resistance, comprising a specific nylon copolymer and an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof.
CONSTITUTION: There are mixed 5W60wt% of (A) an ethylene/vinyl actate copolymer, vinyl acetate content of 0.5W75wt%, modified by (graft)copolymerizing therewith 0.001W10wt% of an unsaturated carboxylic acid or a derivative thereof, such as maleic acid, maleic anhydride or itaconic acid, and 95W40wt% of a nylon copolymer having at least three types of repeating units selected from the repeating units represented by formula I, where n is 5W11, and formula II, where m is 4W 12, and/or a nylon copolymer having repeating units of formula I and consisting of 10W30wt% of units of formula I, where n=5, and 90W70wt% of units of formula I, where n=11. The resulting mixture is molded into a film and the film is crystallized so that the latent heat of melting of the nylon copolymers is at least 1.5Cal/g.
