Abstract

PURPOSE:To test a load upon a switchboard efficiently by placing the switchboard in a high-load state by expanding load contents that a tester operates to several artificial terminal circuits. CONSTITUTION:While several couples of connection terminals 12 are connected to the subscriber's line of a switchboard to be tested, selection switch 4 is adequately turned ON as many times as occasion demands so as to set the number of circuits. In this state, turning hook switch 2 ON operates relays 30 in a series circuit, where switches 4 are previously turned ON, one after another at intervals of time set by delay circuit 5. Further, contact 31 of relay 30 in operation is made, and consequently closed circuits with terminal 12 are formed one after another to send calling signals to the switchboard. Next, rotary dial switch 1 is operated to dial an adequate telephone number, sending dial pulses to the switchboard with the time delay of circuit 5. Consequently,the load test of the switchboard can be carried out with high efficiency.
