Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a carrier frequency of a true value as to a random frequency by attaining access with address width made variable, by using ROM stored with sine- waveform data. CONSTITUTION:Address-width signal generator 2 generates an address width signal for generating a required carrier signal corresponding to modulated data from input terminal 1 and it is a cumulative value in accumulator 3. The address signal from accumulator 3 is subtracted by the same value by subtracters 4-7 in sequence, and code bits S1-S4, difference outputs, are inputted to encoder 11 to express positive code bits by ''0'' and negative ones by ''1''. Encoder 11, composed of ROM, converts them into three-bit codes C1-C3 corresponding to a combination of code bits and they are inputted to respective selectors 12-14. Here, since ROM15 uses only data corresponding to the 1/4 period of a sine wave, codes outputted by substracters are inverted into an address signal. Consequently, a carrier frequency of a true value can be obtained.
