Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus capable of effectively measuring freezing information of a site ground by making the main part of a measuring instrument of a plate type instrument composed of a heating plate whereon a freezing mechanism is fitted.
CONSTITUTION: An apparatus is set at the depth of a target ground where freezing informations are to be required. It is composed of a heating plate mainly and a measuring plate 3 which a freezing function, a rigid frame 5 connected mechanically with this plate 3 and extending to the ground surface part of a bore 1, instruments 7, 9 which are fitted to the ground surface part of this frame 5 and measure expansion pressure and expansion amount or freezing amount when the ground is frozed. Hot refrigerant is supplied from the ground surface 6 to a hot refrigerant coil 4 of the above-mentioned plate 3 and the ground is measured under a specified condition.
