Abstract

PURPOSE: To minimize heat loss while the heat is conveyed from a heat exchanger to another, by providing a heat exchanger of multi-step and of dual pipe type, wherein a plurality of heat exchangers is unitary integrated into one body, outside fluid passages are partitioned plurally by seal mechanism, and a single pipe is employed as a common inside fluid passage.
CONSTITUTION: Inner pipe 11 is located within the outer pipe 10, and space 17 is formed between the two pipes. Space 17 is partitioned into a plurality of subspaces 17a, 17b... each of which is separated independently by partition plates 15 being fixed between the two pipes. On the outer pipe, inlet ports 12 and outlet ports 13 are provided which connect to each of the subspaces.
