Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve work efficiency by making a multiple spindle attachment unit applicable to various different products without need for replacement of said multiple spindle attachment for each type of machining operation.
CONSTITUTION: The first, second, and third tool spindles can each be controlled at high or low speed, and normal or reverse revolution, or in a halted position for attaining the above-written purpose. A plurality of idle gears 65, 67, 69 and 79 are provided in a detachable meshing relation with gears 47, 49 and 57 of the first, second and third tool spindless 15, 17 and 19 and a driving gear 45. These idle gears are properly engaged with above-written gears 47, 49 and 57 for controlling their respective spindles as written above.
