Abstract

PURPOSE: To readily and inexpensively manufacture a coreless motor armature opened at both ends by bonding a plurality of armature windings of rectangular shape or the like at predetermined interval onto the adhesive surface of a thermosetting tape and forming the tape in cylindrical shape to melt to integrate the tape.
CONSTITUTION: Self-adhesive conductor is wound in a plurality of turns to thereby form armature windings la∼lc of rectangular shape or the like. The windings la∼lc thus formed are bonded at predetermined interval onto the adhesive surface of thermosetting tape 3 of epoxy resin or the like. After the tape 3 thus bonded with the armature windings is arranged on the outer periphery of a cylinder 2, it is contained in a constant temperature oven to melt it at a temperature sufficiently melting the tape 3 and to then cool to solidify it. Thus, the windings la∼lc are molded with thermosetting resin in rigid state. Thus, it can readily and inexpensively manufacture the coreless motor armature opened at both ends in a simple step.
