Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the blocking of duffusing pipe by forming the diffusing pipe of polluted water treatment apparatus with an expandible elastomer whose circumference is provided with diffusing holes.
CONSTITUTION: Air from the air supply pipe 3 is sent into a large number of the diffusing holes 2 of the cylindrical diffusing pipe 1 of an expendible elastomer, e.g., rubber, sponge, etc., from which in (oxygen) is sent into a polluted water treatment apparatus. The elastomer is so designed that it can expand to open up the diffusing hole 2 before the internal pressure becomes more than allowable loading of compressor by which air is sent into the elastomer. Thus, the internal pressure is raised, the diffusing hole 2 is opened up, and then clogs are discharged with air even if the diffusing hole 2 is blocked with flocs and sediments in polluted water.
