Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a contact face whereat a penstock and a rotary vane tubular shaft come in contact from being worn out with sand and mud in turbid water by allowing clear water running at a location higher than generating water flowing through the penstock from a clear water pipe to flow out into the penstock or the rotary vane tubular shaft.
CONSTITUTION: Clear water is allowed to flow from a clear water pipe 8 into a penstock or a rotary vane tubular shaft 7 during rotation of a hydraulic injection rotray engine. Thus the clear water flowing out with higher pressure than a generating water flowing through the penstock 1 is effective enough to keep a turbid water from coming near to a ring, baffle the turbid water in the direction of a radial tube 3 and thus to prevent sand and mud in the turbid water from sticking to the ring. A contact face whereat the penstock 1 and the rotary vane tubular shaft 7 come in contact can be prevented from being worn out with the said sand and mud.
