Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head which can be applied suitably to the video tape recorder through formation of the composite core by securing the combination between the both ends of the 1st magnetic substance used at the tape touching area and the 2nd magnetic substance to form the magnetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd magnetic substances 12 and 13 composed of the magnetic material (such as the polycrystal ferrite) suited to the magnetic circuit part are jointed to 1st magnetic substance 11 composed of the magnetic material ( such as single-crystal ferrite) suited to the touching area between the tape and the magnetic head. And these combined magnetic substances are cut along direction 15 orthogonal to the junction surface to form wafers (core half bodies) 16 and 17. Then plural number of grooves 19 are cut to wafer 16; and plural number of grooves 21, winding groove 23 orthogonal to groove 21 plus binder insertion grooves 24 and 25 are cut to wafer 17 respectively. After this, wafers 16 and 17 are fitted to each other by matching grooves 19 and 21 to each other, and the binder (such as glass) is inserted into grooves 24 and 25 to obtain block 26 via the thermal junction. Block 26 is then cut off at faces 27 and 28, and curved surface 29 is formed through the polishing with the radius.
