Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a resin compsn. having durable stabilization effect and initial coloring prevention effect, comprising halogen-contg. resin into which monoorganotin sulfide and hydroxy mercaptan are incorporated.
CONSTITUTION: (A) Mono-organotin sulfide and (B) a cpd. having a gp. of formula (wherein X1 and X2 are H, Li, Na, K, Mg1/2, Ca1/2, Sr1/2, Ba1/2, Zn1/2, B1/3, Al1/3, Si1/4, Sn1/2, Sn1/4, Sb1/3, Ti1/4, organosilicon gp.), and if necessary (C) at least one selected from the group consisting of alkali metal salts and alkaline earth metal salts of carboxylic acid, thiocarboxylic acid, carbonic acid, phenol and substd. phenol; oxides and hydroxides of alkali metals and alkaline earth metals; and organic overbase complex, are added to halogen-contg. resin. Examples of the cpd. having the gp. of the formula are 2-hydroxyethyl mercaptan and 2-tetradecyl-2- hydroxyethyl mercaptan.
