Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a sulfur-containing bathing liquid which contains a composition resulting from crushing a water-soluble sulfide in the presence of a specific crushing aid such as calcium oxide, thus causing no change in brown color without strange odor, when used. CONSTITUTION:The subject bathing liquid contains a composition which is obtained by crushing a water-soluble sulfide, preferably a compound of the formula: M2Sx.yH2O (M is alkali metal; x is 1-5; y is 2-4) in the presence of 50-500pts.wt., preferably 100-200pts.wt., per 100pts.wt. of the water-soluble sulfide, of a crushing aid selected from calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, anhydrous sodium carbonate, zinc oxide and anhydrous magnesium sulfate of less than 700mum, preferably 50-500mum average particle size so that the content of the water-soluble sulfide reaches 0.1-50wt.%, preferably 1-30wt.%.
