Abstract

PURPOSE: To accelerate an ignition time at the starting stage by a mechanism wherein a teeth body forming a flame port protrudes on the extention line of an upper edge of a burner, accelerate the temperature rise, and hence, the pre-heating time is curtailed.

CONSTITUTION: Teeth body 9a projects on a upper edge of a burner 9, the formation of a flame port 11 being such that a burner cap 10 is placed thereon. A mixture partition plate 12 of the burner 9 forms an air-fuel mixture chamber 12 above the plate 12 and a gasifying chamber 14 below it. The numeral 15 represents a sprayed fuel inlet and the reference numeral 16 shows a gasifying heater. This constitution causes the rapid rise in a temperature due to the teeth body 9a which is located on an extension line of the burner 9 and are exellent in heat transmission. Thus, even if gasified fuel produced in the gasifying chamber 14 flows into the air-fuel mixture chamber 13 and becomes misty steam thereat as a result of the said fuel being in contact with the burner cap 10, it becomes gasified fuel after being reheated by means of the teeth body 9a when it passes through the flame port 11, and thus, it does not disturb the ignition. Than is, an ignition start can be acceterated as a result of a pre-heating time at a starting stage being reduced by half.
