Abstract

PURPOSE: To equalize the washing frequency of each module and enhance the membrane separating capacity by arranging two arranged pipes, a washing running body supply means, a bypass pipe or the like connected to plural modules having permeable membrane at a predetermined manner.
CONSTITUTION: A module 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b... is connected in series respectively and each of module groups is arranged between an arranged pipe 7, 8 in a pararell fashion. To the starting end of an arranged pipe 7 and the terminal end of an arranged pipe 8, a running body supply portion 9 and 10 are connected respectively and a bypass pipe 11 is provided through a valve 13 and a screen 12. A bypass pipe may be connected along the broken line 14. In case of washing modules, a valve 13 is opened to supply washing water and running bodies are sent from a supply portion 9. Because a part of washing water is flowed into a bypass pipe 11, the probability wherein running bodies are entered to a terminal module 6a is enhanced and the washing of a return passage is carried out by flowing water to a reverse direction to wash each modules uniformly.
