Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an electricity-sound mutual converter which enables the talking only through the single ear. CONSTITUTION:Sound pressure type conversion element 10 is incorporated into ear hooking component 7b, and the sound pressure given from element 10 is led into the external auditory meatus from component 8b and through the pierced hole of ear piece 1. Both the electric signals sent from vibration pickup-type conversion element 5 incorporated into piece 1 plus the electric signals to be applied to element 10 are transmitted via cord 12. The signals sent from element 5 are transmitted via the lead wire reaching cord 12 through within components 8b and 7b. When the voice is uttered in the state under which the projection part of piece 1 is inserted into the external auditory meatus, element 5 along with piece 1 have vibrations. These vibrations are then converted into the electric signals to be transmitted to the transmitter via cord 12. While the electric signals transmitted through cord 12 from the receiver are converted into the sound pressure via element 10 to be then transmitted to the eardrum through hole 3 of the ear piece. In such constitution, the talking is possible through the single ear.
