Abstract
PURPOSE: To measure water content of grains with high accuracy in capacitance measurement, by arranging the grains as well as the polishment of grain surface with the mixing projection turned through the arranging chamber at the supply side of water content measuring chamber.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of grains fed to the arranging chamber formed with the perforated side cylinder 1 from the supply inlet 3 is polished and uniformed with the mixing projection 18 provided with the mixing lever 19 turned unifiedly with the delivery grain screw 17, and arranged and supplied to the water content chamber 6 via the supply grain inlet 7. Since the capacity of the discharge screw conveyor 8 is smaller than the supply screw conveyor 8 in the measuring chamber 6, the grains in the chamber 6 and further uniform density and the water content of grains can be measured with high accuracy via the static capacitance by the anode and cathode 10, 11 provided in the chamber 6.
