Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the leakage of leakage electromagnetic wave to out of the device by providing first and second cathode end plates connected to both ends of a spiral cathode and providing a third cathode end plate forming a condenser with the first cathode end plate.
CONSTITUTION: A first cathode end plate 3 on which one end of a spiral cathode 4 of thorium tungsten wire is soldered is provided on the top of a stem lead wire 1, and a second cathode end plate 5 on which the other end of the cathode 4 is soldered is provided on a second stem lead wire 2. Furthermore a third cathode end plate 6 is fixed to the second stem lead wire 2 near and facing to the first cathode end plate 3 to form a condenser 7. Thus due to the shortcircuit between out-tube terminals of the cathode 4 with the condenser 7 the leakage of leakage electromagnetic wave to out of the device is prevented effectively.
