Abstract

PURPOSE: To straighten a camber roll or suppress the progression of its camber and prevent the degradation in the quality of the slab during casting by lowering the speed of casting at the time when the concave face owing to bending of the slab guide rolls detected during continuous casting opposes to the slab.
