Abstract

PURPOSE: A swingingly movable supporting bar is provided between the front edge of bottom conveyor belt and the top edge of the releasing roller, thus permitting the release of laver sheets from the laver-making screens without any trouble even when a part of the laver sheet comes off.
CONSTITUTION: The upper conveyor 1 has porous surface to which the laver sheets are sucked. When the laver sheet separates from the laver sheet-making screen, the screen begins dropping downward by its self-weight from the front edge F of the bottom conveyor 6, however, it is supported by supporting bars 20 projecting from supporters 16 at both sides of the laver sheet to the position right beneath the normal moving direction of the laver sheet. Thus, the laver sheet goes forward without falling by being pushed from the back side and as in the case where the laver sheet sticks to the screen, is led to the depression for release on the bottom side 11 by guide 7 and the screen is steeply turned to start the release operation. Since the revolving speed of releasing roller 9 is higher than that of the upper conveyor belt 1, the turning position of the screen shifts backward. The supporting bar 20 is pushed by the turning screen and follows the shift of the turning position by revolving backward resisting the repulsion of spring 25. Thus, when the back end of the laver sheet passes on the back end of the suction opening 0, the release completes.
