Abstract

PURPOSE:To assure deep drawability by adding Ti, Cr, Al, etc. to the composition of the Zn-plated steel plate as well as to prevent the degradation in the characteristic and adhesiveness of Zn-plated surfaces by defining alloying temperature to a fixed range. CONSTITUTION:The slab of the steel which contains C; 0.001-0.02%, Si<0.05%, Mn<0.25%, N<0.01%, sol.Al<0.10%, Ti<0.20%, Cr<0.10% and which has the relations of satisfying formula (1) among C, N, Ti, Cr is produced. This is then hot-rolled under ordinary hot rolling conditions, i.e., finish temperature Ar3 point or more and coiling temperature 500-700 deg.C, whereby a hot rolled steel plate is produced. Next, it is cold-rolled at a draft of 40% or more, after which it is subjected to recrystallization annealing at temperatures of 750 deg.C up to Ar3 point and is then subjected to Zn hot dipping in a Sendzimir type continuous hot dipping line. Finally it is passed through an alloying treatment furnace to undergo alloying of the plating layer correct with the furnace outlet temperature being kept at 400-500 deg.C, whereby peeling of the plating film is prevented.
