Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce powder consumption of a booster circuit stopping a through current from flowing by providing a period when the booster circuit is OFF at the same time as a change in switching operation.
CONSTITUTION: The output of a pulse output circuit consisting of transistor TRTp10 and Tn10 forming booster circuit 50 controls switching gate G10 and the output of a level shift circuit consisting of TRTp30, Tp40, Tn30, Tn40 controls switching gate G20. Then signals (ϕ10) and (ϕ20) whose frequencies are equal and phase and pulse width are different are inputted to a pulse output circuit and level shift circuit, and a period when the booster circuit turns OFF at the same time as a change in switching operation is provided. Consequently, gates G10 and G20 never turn ON at the same time, and no through current therefore flows, so that the power consumption of booster circuit 50 can be reduced.
