Abstract

PURPOSE:To record and display stress measurement results of several channels accurately in a short time by processing detection outputs of a strain gauge by a peak detector and X-Y recorder. CONSTITUTION:Once applied with a strain-intensity detection current from strain gauge 2 connected to bridge circuit 3, peak detector 7 detects the maximum and minimum value of variation in waveform and then generates a direct current, equivalent to stress obtained by converting the strain intensity to apply the current to X-Y recorder 8 servo-controlled in the X-axial direction corresponding to the oscillation frequency of exciter 1. Consequently, there is no need to calculate a stress value by recording the strain intensity of each frequency of exciter 1 by an electromagnetic oscillograph, and strain measurement as to several channels and its recording display can be attained accurately in a short time.
