Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the accuracy of the final inspection and save labor therefor by a method wherein the full-voltage signal of an electric signal for the thickness and mass of thread is dissolved by an amplitude probability density distribution meter and the estimation of quality is conducted in accordance with the form of distribution of voltage of the waveform of frequency distribution.

By such a constitution, the control based on the peak value of the wave form corresponds excellently to a dyeing spot which is produced when the thread is dyed in a cloth, since the spot is caused by the unevenness of the mass and thickness of the thread. Accordingly, the increase in the accuracy of the final inspection, as well as the labor- savings, can be achieved.
