Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency of heat collection over a wide temparature range by providing a mirror or selectively permeable membrane on the semicircular surface not facing the cylindrical parabolic reflector side of a vacuum heat-insulating glass tube in which a heat collecting tube is housed.
CONSTITUTION: The incidence of visible rays is completely shielded and the reflectivity of infrared rays is enhanced by forming the mirror 6 by deposition on the inside surface not facing the cylindrical parabilic mirror side of the vacuum heat- insulating glass 2 in the place of selectively permeable membrane, corresponding to the enlarging limit of the thickness of the selectively permeable membrane.
