Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a method for reclaiming fluid media without stopping the furnace operation and for refeeding the reclaimed media into the incinerator. CONSTITUTION:The fluid media such as sand drawn out from an EP ash incinerator 1 are guided into a crusher 2 through a line 11. Poured into said crusher 2 through a line 21 is water heated by a heater 3 or a dissolving solution. A mechanical force is given in the crusher 2 under presence of said water or dissolving solution to separate the deposits. The crushed media and deposits are separated by a separator 4 disposed in the rear of the crusher 2, and the media are resupplied into said EP ash incinerator 1 through a line 31 while the deposits are discharged out through a line 41 and subjected to a suitable treatment.
