Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain rectilinear-propagation travelling properties extremely simple, by controlling the oscillating turning of a caster wherein a lever is operated as necessary.
CONSTITUTION: When direction of this caster is decided in the rectilinear propagation direction and an operating lever 19 is downward turned, a connecting pawl 19a is connected and pressure-contacted to a connecting groove 22, a locking condition of the lever 19 is maintained by pressure-contact force by means of a tension spring 21 and the oscillating turning of the caster is checked. Thus, the caster can rectilinearly be advanced without letting a handcart meander. If the lever 19 is downward rotated beforehand and the connecting pawl 19a is pressure-contacted to a lower pan cover 8 even when the direction of the caster is not decided in the rectilinear porpagation direction, the direction is settled in the rectilinear propagation direction during the travelling of the caster, the connecting pawl 19a is connected to the connecting groove 22, the oscillating turning of the caster is restrained and the caster can rectilinearly be let travel.
