Abstract

PURPOSE:To prepare a food, wherein plural fish eggs moderately adhere and closely resemble natural ones, by coating the outermost shells of artificial eggs with an edible muscilage. CONSTITUTION:The outermost shells of artificial fish eggs are coated with a solution of an edible natural or synthetic musilage, e.g. polysaccharide, protein, or polypeptide, having a viscosity of 50-100,000 cps, preferably 300-50,000 cps.
