Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform the repairment described in the title, so as to form coating of high durability and reliability free from crack, cutout, and peeling etc., by applying a coating medium which is made by compounding a specific amount of scaly inorganic filling material with unsaturated polyester resin or epoxy resin.
CONSTITUTION: An imperfect portion of glass lining is previously washed with water, dried and is subjected to sanding in order to make its surface rugh. The surface is applied with a coating medium made by compounding 10W70 parts by wt. of scaly inorg. filling material such as glass flake with 100 parts by wt. of unsatuated polyester resin or epoxy resin. The coating meterial hardens completely when left to stand at ordinary temp. for about 24 hrs., so that it is easily field applied. Because no solvent is used, it is applied easily in thick film at a high working efficiency.
