Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible wider angle by an objective lens of a short back focus with simple constitution by bonding the constitutional elements of the objective lens to the end of an image guide by means of an adhesive agent.
CONSTITUTION: If the convex optical elements whose one side constituting the objective lens 1 of the endscope is plane are bonded to the end face of an optical fiber 4 forming an image guide by using an adhesive agent 3, the back focus of the lens 1 becomes substantially longer owing to the movement of the optical fiber 4 in the optical axis direction of the lens 1. Hence, the field of view may be widened by the use of the objective lens of a short back focus with the simple constitution.
