PURPOSE:To make high-accuracy time adjustments by putting a time corrector, including a time-signal discriminator circuit and second directing reset-to-zero circuit, into operation at least once a month and then by automatically making a second-digit correction in accordance with a time signal. CONSTITUTION:Once the contents of counter circuit 4 of watch circuit 1 reaches fixed time, timer circuit 10 starts counting one-second pulses from divider circuit 3 and also sends an operation command to time signal discriminator circuit 8 at the same time to place circuit 8 and microphone 7 in operation mode. On arrival a time tone at microphone 7, discriminator circuit 8 discriminates that to generate a pulse, which is sent to 30-second directing reset-to-zero circuit 9, thereby correcting the contents of counter 4 to correct time.
