Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep accurate for the position signal and to increase the stability, by obtaining the constant point position signal of S-shaped state and the gate signal of Ω-shape with two ferro magnetic resistance elements and picking up the constant point position signal with the gate signal for gating.
CONSTITUTION: The constant point ferro magnetic resistive element 8 consists of the two sets of ferro magnetic members located and connected orthogonally and the bias magnet feeding the bias magnetic field to the direction taking 45° lengthwise, and the gating ferro magnetic resistive element 9 consists of two sets of ferro magnetic members located and connected orthogonally. The both magnetic resistive elements 8, 9 are provided with the voltage applying terminals a, a', gate signal output terminal b, constant point signal output terminal b', and ground terminals c, c'. The constant point position signal S1 and the gate signal S2 are obtained depending on the relative movement between the magnetic substance 11 and the constant point position detector. Accordingly, when the signal S2 is given to suitable gate circuit and the signal S1 is picked up via the gate circuit, correct and stable constant position signal can be obtained.
