Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an elastic surface wave filter which features a low loss and wide range with no ripple caused to the frequency characteristics. CONSTITUTION:Reflective electrode groups 17,18,19 and 20 are formed with transducer 2 comprising the comb-line sending-end reed screen electrode groups which convert the electric signals into the elastic surface waves on the surface of piezoelectric substrate 14; transducer 3 of comb-line receiving-end which converts the elastic surface waves into the electric signals; coupling electrode groups 15 and 16 arranged in parallel at both sides of the above mentioned electrode groups; and four comb-line reed screen electrode groups provided outside groups 15 and 16 respectively. And electrode groups 15 and 16 are constituted so that they may operate as the 3dB directional couplers.
