Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the insulating plate of a semiconductor stack from cracking and the mounting bolts thereof from becoming loose by mounting the semiconductor stack downwardly at the seat of a lower retainer by utilizing the mounting holes when mounting the stack at a box frame.
CONSTITUTION: When a semiconductor stack is mounted at a box frame 7, it is mounted at its upper portion through a through fitting 13 buried in an insulating plate 6 at a terminal retainer 10 and at its lower portion downwardly at a seat 17 provided on the bottom of the frame 7 at a lower retainer 14 by using bolts 16. In order to absorb the fabricating error of the mounting position of the seat 17, a mounting leg 18 formed with a mounting hole 15 by bending a flat steel plate is integrally formed with its body as the lower retainer 14. Further, a seat 19 is integrally formed at the lower retainer 14, the insulating plate 6 is mounted at the seat 19 in such a manner that the plate 6 is regardless of the mounting of the semiconductor stack at the frame 7. The upper and lower retainers 3 and 14 are tightened through a leaf spring 20 by bolts 21. This construction prevents the mounting portion of the stack from cracking and exactly mounts the stack.
