Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve anti-corrosion property of aluminum heat exchanger by setting a current disturbing element of zinic etc. as a sacrificial positive electrode in the aluminum exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: In aluminum heat exchanger, a disturbing element 2, which is made of lead or zinic compound and reacts as a sacrificial positive electrode to the tube of exchanger, is set in the tube 1. When a coolant filling in the tube works as an electrolyte solution, the element 2 becomes positive and the tube 1 negative. By this, while the element 2 receives electrochemical corrosion by battery effect, the tube is protected from the corrosion like a case of the zinic layer being coated on the inside wall.
