Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the revolution of a form drum smooth and obtain the form printer of superior printing grade and resolution by driving the form drum which revolves in synchronization with the revolution of a recording drum by a pulse oscillator.
CONSTITUTION: Reference pulses are divided and the divided outputs are applied to a motor 11 by way of a driver 10, by which a form drum 4 is revolved. On the other hand, a recording drum 4 is revolved by a motor 7 and its revolution pulse signals N' are generated by an encoder 8 and the deviations from the reference pulses are obtained. Since the device is so constituted that the dividing ration of the reference pulses changes in correspondence to the deviations thus obtained, the form drum 4 may be smoothly revolved in the state synchronized at the peripheral speed to the recording drum 1. Because of this, the occurrence of fluctuations in the output pulses and the formation of image deviations at the time of printing forms, such as forms, slips, etc. are obviated and the printing grade and resolution may be enhanced.
