Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce the timing of the angle revolution determined from the reference point of the motor even with variance in the motor revolution, by generating the timing pulse more fine than the timing of the timing disc mounted on the motor shaft such as printers.

CONSTITUTION: The timing slits 2-1 of equal interval and the reference point 2-2 are provided for the timing disc 2 of the disc mounted on the shaft of the motor 1 and the timing generated from them is detected at the sensors 3 and 3'. The output pulse a of the sensor 3 is fed to the phase locked loop 8 to generate the pulses having the frequency N times the pulses a. The output pulse 6 of this loop 8 is fed to the subtraction counter 9 of the timing generating circuit 12 as the reference clock. Further, the pulse c from the sensor 3' is fed to the reset terminal of the counter 11 of the circuit 12 and the timing pulse outputted from the loop 8 is counted at the circuit 12, allowing to generate the timing pulse from the reference point of the motor 1 even with variance in the revolution of the motor 1.
