PURPOSE:To make it possible to generate a circular polarized wave by providing an electric field needle and a magnetic field needle in a round or square waveguide and supplying a coaxial wave to them from coaxial input terminals. CONSTITUTION:In round waveguide 1, when a coaxial wave is excited from coaxial input terminals 8 and 9 through electric field needle 6 and magnetic field needle 7, this coaxial wave becomes circular polarized waves of turning opposite to each other in respect to the horizontal direction of electric field needle 6 and magnetic field needle 7 and is propagated; and circular polarized wave 11 to the left is reflected by short-circuit face 12 and becomes circular polarized wave 13 of turning opposite to circular polarized wave 11 and is propagated again. If the position of short-circuit face 12 is selected properly, circular polarized waves 10 and 13 can have the same phase because circular polarized waves 10 and 13 have the same turning. As a result, circular polarized wave 14 is obtained.
