Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the abrasion of the inner surface of a ring and vanes and maintain tight contact sliding, by providing a depression which enlarges the opening side over the entire inner surface of a ring on whose inner surface the vanes slide and ejecting molten coating material on this depression.
CONSTITUTION: Depression 25 is formed on the inner surface of ring 5. This depression makes the side of opening 26 larger than the side of bottom 27 and also makes both side surfaces 28 in the axial direction slant. Coating film 29 is made of highly abrasion resisting material, which is melted and sprayed on depression 25. Inner layer 29A of coating film 29 is made of alumina and nickel, which has oxidization resistance at high temperature. Outer layer 29B is composed of alumina and titania. By this, the local abrasion of the inner surface of ring 5 due to vanes 6 is minimized and tight contact sliding is maintained.
