Abstract
PURPOSE: To read bar-codes of all dimensional magnificatons by clearing all the read till the detection below to start the read with a black bar when it is detected that a comparison value has a value over prescribed-number magnifications again before read completion.
CONSTITUTION: A signal width corresponding to the high-reflection factor part in a waveform shaping signal is detected by clock frequency divider counter 31, AND circuit 32 and counter 33, and a signal width corresponding to the next low-reflection factor part is detected by AND circuit 34 and counter 35. Then, comparator circuit 36 compares counted outputs of counters 33 and 35 and outputs a pulse signal if the counted output of counter 33 is larger than the counted output of counter 35, and FF 37 detects overflow of counter 33. When it is detected that the value compared by circuit 36 has a value over prescribed-number magnification before read completion, FF 37 clears all the read till then and starts the read wth a black bar, so that bar-codes of all dimensional magnifications can be read.
