Abstract

PURPOSE: To accomplish a higher reliability of the motor halting mechanism during the closure of the shutter by turning on the normal switching action of the switch for cutting the power supply of the motor in response to the closure of the shutter ahead of the main power source switch and turning thereof off following the power source switch.
CONSTITUTION: A temperature fuse 5 is provided in a mechanism of connecting a power source switch 7 and a shutter 13 to automatically close the shutter 13 when encountering an abnormally high temperature. In a ventilation fan of such a type, a lead switch 10 is connected in series to the power source switch 7 in such a manner that the lead switch 10 turns on by t1 seconds ahead of the power source switch 7 while turning off by t2 seconds following thereof in the normal operation. With such an arrangement, since the lead switch 10 in no way affects the opening or closing of the running current of the motor 3, the lead switch 10 can secure a sufficient reliability and life even of a limited capacity.
