Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the vaporizing capacity by enlarging the heating area of the gas generating cylinder and to improve combustion efficiency by greatly shortening the time of transfer from a initial combustion state to a vaporized combustion state.
CONSTITUTION: An air blast pipe 2 is inserted deep into an end-closed hollow gas generating cylinder 1 from its proximal end side to form a mixed gas passage 13 between said gas generating cylinder 1 and air blast pipe 2. A plurality of connecting pipes 3 extend out radially from an outer cylinder on the proximal end side of said gas generating cylinder 1, and a hollow and annular combustion cylinder 4 having a plurality of flame jets 5 is connected to the end of each of said connecting pipes 3 so that each said combustion cylinder 4 is communicated with the gas generating cylinder 1. Opening in the air blast pipe 2 is an oil jet 7 of an oil supply pipe 6, and in the outer periphery of said air blast pipe 2 are formed the air ports for feeding secondary air toward the combustion cylinders 4. According to this arrangement, the whole periphery of the gas generating cylinder 1 can be heated quickly by the combustion flames ejected from the flame jets 5 in the respective combustion cylinders 4.
