Abstract

PURPOSE: To force up the end part of a concave die and enable end-bending of a steel plate to be done by applying the curved face of the concave die to the other face of the steel plate which is applied to the curved face of a convex die.
CONSTITUTION: A steel plate 3 is held horizontally by clamp devices 11a, 11b from above and below. Next, a concave die 7 is opposedly positioned to a convex die 4 through height adjustment by the push up device of a fulcrum axis 12 and down position adjustment of a spring 8. Next, the fulcrum axis 12 is moved upward in the bed 10 direction by the operation of the push up device. Then, the concave die 7 rises while turning about the fulcrum axis 12 as its turning center and makes cam operation while acting force upon the end of the steel plate side edge, thereby pressing the same is such a manner as to roll the same. There is similar effect even by fixing the fulcrum axis 12 of the concave die 7 and pushing down the convex die 4 or pushing down the concave die 7 from above the convex die 4.
