Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain samples under reaction at a substantially constant temperature using a simple structure by a device wherein specifically positioned opening are used to charge and discharge a constant temperature liquid.
CONSTITUTION: A constant temperature liquid S from a thermostat controller flowing into the constant temperature bath 15 is charged from the inlets 152, allowed to pass through the small chamber 151, the inlets 15a, the constant temperature bath 15 along the direction of movement of the reaction containers 11, and discharged from the outlets 15b to be returned to the thermostat controller. The liquid S flows through the bath 15 substantially free from the resistance of flow due to the reaction containers 11, providing essentially constant temperature distribution in the bath 15.
