Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent a joint section from leakage and save a solder by pressing down the groove from both sides to heat after inserting the skirt section made of thin solder layor of a metal tank into the groove of the metallic seat plate.
CONSTITUTION: Both sides of the skirt of metallic tank 5 are plated or pasted with a foil to form solder layor 8a along overall length thereof. After the skirt is inserted into the groove 4a of seat plate 4, the groove 4a is pressed down with one set of roller 9, 9a to assemble temporarily. Then, when the groove 4a is heated, the melted solder 8a may permeate evenly between the inside of the groove 4a and the skirt of tank, when solidified the seat plate 4 and tank 5 being secured to seal. This enables to utilize effectively the solder without developing a residue and outflow of solder.
