Abstract

PURPOSE: To ensure a high-speed decoding process by installing a small-size computer featuring a comparatively low-speed processing speed plus the signal converter which generates the pulses in the number equivalent to the run length.
CONSTITUTION: Modulator/demodulator circuit 10 supplies the signals through communication circuit 110 and delivers the digital signals to buffer memory 20. Small- size computer 30 supplies the signals of memory 20 for decoding and then delivers them to run length signal converter 40. Converter 40 converts the input signals into the pulses in the number equivalent to the run length to supply them to line memory 50. Memory 50 memorizes the picture signals via the pulses and the video signals sent from computer 30. Recorder 60 is reset to the initial state via the scanning signals of computer 30 to read out and then record the picture signals of memory 50. Motor driving unit 70 drives motor 80 by the fixed amount in synchronization with the scanning signals of computer 30 in order to feed the paper.
