Abstract

PURPOSE: A high specific gravity resin composition that is composed of a styrene resin, a zinc dust with specific particle sizes and a lubricant, thus having high moldability and impact strength and giving moldings with high luster.
CONSTITUTION: (a) 100 parts by wt of a styrene resin is blended with (b) 20W 250 parts of a zinc dust whose content of particles with 40 microns or more particle sizes exceeds 30wt% and weight-average particle size is 30W300 microns to give a resin composition. To (A) 100 parts by wt of the resulting resin composition are added (B) 0.1W15 parts of a lubricant as metal salt of higher fatty acid, higher fatty acid or higher fatty acid amide to produce the objective composition.
