Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the concentration of stress at the joint between tank cover and body and to prevent the deterioration of liquid tightness by forming a step coupled by through thin portion on upper face of tank while surrounding the pole.

Consequently when the pole 3 is thermally expanded during charging, the tubular section 4 is displaced upwardly and said displacement is absorbed by the deformation of thin section 11 of the step portion. Consequently the deterioration of liquid-proof performance is prevented.
