Abstract

PURPOSE: To save the coagulant by regulating the concentration of suspended substance (SS) present in dust-collected water used in a wet type dust collector to a specific range.
CONSTITUTION: When the coagulant 6 is added to the dust-collecting water discharged from the wet type dust collector 2 and solid-liquid separation is made in the precipitator 5, the part 9 of slurry is recycled to the dust-collecting water and also the SS concentration of the dust-collecting water is checked and regulated to a range of 800W1500ppm by sampling the dust-collecting water from the check valve 10 by using the valve 11. Thus, the frequency of maintenance for dust collector can be lessened by lowering the SS concentration and the treatment in the next process can be made easier by increasing the concentration of slurry by enhancing solid- liquid separation efficiency in precipitator.
